The Calor Village of the Year® competition was launched by Calor to provide Welsh villages with the opportunity to gain recognition and reward for their achievements and by so doing go forward as healthy, vibrant, sustainable communities into the future.
The bi-lingual Calor Village of the Year® for Wales competition is open to all villages in the Principality with a population of 5,000 or under, and they can choose to participate in up to four different categories - People, Business, Environment and Communities. villages are also asked to explain in less than 500 words: 'What makes your village a special place?' For a village to be considered for the overall title of Calor Village of the Year® for Wales it will need to enter all four categories.

NEW Wales entry form for 2008
The new entry form for Calor Village of the Year® Wales is now available to download.
This year, we are inviting all participating villages to enter online - by sending completed forms to info@calorvillageoftheyear.org.
The closing date for entries is the 30th May.
