Category Winners

Many communities are being run, to alesser or greater extent, by active, retired people; people with energy, time and wisdom to instigate and maintain much needed community programmes. But every community will inevitably have even older people, often with increasing frailty that can be debilitating and isolating. This competition category asks what is being done to help them and to keep them involved in the life of the village.
