Seconds out in District Round of Warwickshire Best Kept Competition

The results of the district round of judging in the 2005 Warwickshire Best Kept Village and Churchyard competition are in with the county judging currently underway.

From the original 120 entrants, the following villages and churchyards have been successful in the competition at district level: –

Competition organiser, Jenny Cranfield, commented: “The standard of entries has been very high and the county round of the competition is going to be very close. I wish the villages and churchyards facing further judging the best of luck and look forward to hearing the results.”

The Best Kept Village and Churchyard competition is run by Warwickshire Rural Community Council (WRCC). Sponsorship is provided by Calor, the UK’s leading supplier of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) with additional support from the Leamington Spa Courier and the Rugby Advertiser.
