Best Kept Winners Honoured
The winning communities in the 2006 North Lincolnshire Best Kept Village and Small Towns competition have been honoured at a presentation event held on Monday 6th November at Scawby Village Hall.
The competition is organised by Sue Franks on behalf of Northern Lincolnshire CPRE (Campaign to Protect Rural England) and sponsored by Calor, the UK’s leading supplier of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), with additional support from local sponsors Fenland Leisure, the Scunthorpe Telegraph, Oaklands Nurseries and Stephen Smith’s Garden Centre.
Rob Benson and Jim Moyes of Calor presented representatives of the successful communities with their prizes, which included framed commemorative certificates.
