Our judges are looking for well-balanced, enterprising, caring villages. Communities that are making the most of local opportunities, wherever they are and however large or small the village.
The competition includes four compulsory categories that the village is judged on:
People
Business
Environment
Communications
Taking part in the Calor Village of the Year® competition has allowed us to take stock of everything we do as a community. As a parish we raise a lot of money for many causes in the parish and several outside. The competition made us add up everything that we do and we were amazed at the total.
